RefAIn

Overview

RefAIn is an early-stage research tool aimed at supporting academic research workflows.

The goal is to provide an AI-assisted environment for:

  • Organizing papers, notes, and project artifacts
  • Running semantic search over literature and project materials
  • Generating summaries or highlights to accelerate reading and synthesis
  • Supporting collaboration around shared research topics

RefAIn is envisioned as a companion for research groups, helping them keep track of related work and ongoing ideas while reducing friction in literature review and knowledge management.

Status

RefAIn is in the Vision & Research phase, with design and experimentation happening in the associated GitHub repository.
